So, I looked at my blog and realized I haven't posted since November?! And now January is pretty much gone. I feel like I just barely posted about having twins, probably because I am still in shock somewhat and it still feels like I just got told I am having not just one but two. Life changing.
Anyway life is going great. And we are really enjoying the beautiful 60ish degree weather.
We went to the zoo a couple of days ago and Eden loved it. She loves to say all the animal sounds and she even got to pet the goats. That was a really fun outing. The only thing they didn't have at the zoo was a hippo, which is one of my favorite words to hear Eden try to say. She did great and we will definitely have to go again.
Jay is liking all of his classes at ASU. He has a gotten a routine down and is loving having more time to study and to have time to work out. His goal is to get in better shape and he is doing great. He is the YM Pres in our ward and loves that calling. They have some fun activities planned and a dance festival comeing up.
I am trying to get projects done around the house and start getting things ready for twins. I am still the primary chorister in our ward. Its a lot of work to put together visuals and fun ways to learn songs each week but I do enjoy it. I don't know if I will be able to keep it after I have the twins. We shall see.
Eden is a load of fun and busy busy. She is non stop most of the time but I love watching her learn and be excited about life. She is a pure delight in our home. She loves giving hugs and kisses, rocking her doll, reading books, and being outside. I think she is going to be a great big sister and a great helper to me.

So I think everyone just about knows by now. Word spreads like wildfire. But we are having twins! Yeah and Wow. I am not sure what to think sometimes.
I actually had a few dreams that I was having twins, a boy and a girl. I told Jay about it and he teased me from then on that we were going to have twins. I didn't think it was something to laugh about. I know how hard one is, two would definitely be a lot to handle. My sister also predicted that I was having twins. And somehow deep down I knew it too, I just didn't want to admit it.
So One evening I started having cramps and later started to have some bleeding. I called and scheduled an appt. the next morning. Jay had school and work so my mom went with me, and I am glad she did. We first got to the DR. office and answered tons of questions and then she checked the heart beat. Right away we heard one. But I was in a hurry to get an ultra sound to check and make sure things were ok. So we drove to the office with the ultra sound and waited. Right when we got in and she started looking for the "baby", my mom and I saw two. We both looked at each other just as the Tech said I was having twins. My mom went crazy she couldn't believe it. I told myself I knew it, but it was still hard to take in.
We told Jay over the phone and he didn't believe us, he thought it was a joke. Nope, no joke.
Sorry if this sounds depressed. We are not sad, in fact we are very excited. I am just a little overwhelmed. But I am very grateful to have two very healthy active babies( they were moving constantly throughout the ultra sound). I am also very grateful for a healthy body that is providing all that my babies need. The Doc couldn't find anything wrong and could not figure out why I had some bleeding. I attribute it to Heavenly Father healing my body through Jay's blessing that he gave me the night before. Thank you Jay. I am so grateful for the priesthood and for a husband who holds is worthily. What a blessing. We have a crazy ride ahead of us, but we are excited and know we can do it.

Jay's 1st Triathalon

So Jay did a Triathalon in Casa Grand with his dad and brother Bo a couple weekends ago. They did a 400M swim, 10mi bike ride and 3.something run. he did good for his first. I think for the next one in Dec. he wants to train a little more. I thought he did great though. It was a really cold day cause it had just rained the night before. The had to stand out in the wind for almost an hour waiting in line for the pool. they swam first and then had to get right on their bikes and from there run. I would have froze. they all did really good and it was fun to watch, at least what I could see. Good job Jay, Bo, Dad!

I know this is way late, I am behind. But I had to put put up a couple pictures. Eden was a fairy. So cute. We took her to my aunt Mary's house and took her around to trick or treat. In her neighborhood everyone sits out on their lawn and hands out candy. Eden loved it. We made the mistake of giving her one of the candies she got and she was hooked. She just wanted to go back out and trick or treat all night. I had to stash the candy away. We also went out earlier that weekend with Kendal and Kristina McCray to Kendals work and got tons of candy. Eden enjoyed that too and I am still trying to get rid of that candy.

Introducing the Door Hinge

Eden had a run-in with the door hinge. It was stiking up and she was running around being crazy and fell headon. She gashed her head right above her eye in two spots. It looked worse in person. One is bigger than the other. It bled quite a bit and she of course was scared cause she didn't know what was coming out of her head. It wasn't too deep so we didn't get stiches. We put some liquid bandaid/glue stuff on it with steri strips. She was a trooper while I held her down to do it. Now she points to it and says "ouch". Hopefully it doesn't leave a big scar. Sorry babe.

This is Eden pouty face. Sometimes I almost laugh at it, gota watch that.

She always sticks her tongue out when she is really focused on something. She likes to take things apart and put them together, like her high chair buckles, which has to be put together immediatelyafter she's done eating.

Eden tried the zip line and loved it. We got a kick out of watching her. But we tried again this past weekend and she got scared. Guess she forgot about how fun it was.

So September is already flying by. We moved into Blake and Aprils house in August and we are really enjoying it. It has a lot more space than our previous rentals. Eden loves having a room to play with all her toys. She LOVES to go outside. anytime I say "Lets go" she gets so excited and hurries to find her shoes.Its been so hot to go outside, but we played in the sprinklers yesterday. Its starting to cool off enough in the mornings to go on walks and we both love that. Besides being outside or playing in water her favorite is reading books. She could sit and read books with me for hours.
One Sunday we just wanted to take a picture cause my hubby and little girls sooked so dang cute.

I found this dress at a thrift store! Oh I love thrift stores. I also got a nice rocking chair at one, I just cleaned off pen markings- and good as new:)

Stacking Four High

Jay, Kendal, Craig Reynolds, and Blake were trying to stack themselves four people high in the water. They started out in the shallow and then tried in the deep end. they almost got it a few times. Kendal's brother Eldon got a rope and tried to pull them up to the shallow end while they were stacked. It was fun to watch and they had some good laughs.

The Past 2 Weeks

We had the opportunity to stay at my Aunt Mary's house while they were away with their family participating in th Nauvoo Pageant. We took care of their two dogs Ginger and Zorro, their birds and thier pool for two weeks. We had a lot of fun and greatlly enjoyed the space. We loved having a pool to go jump into at any given time. Thanks Aunt Mary and Uncle David!

So, as some of you may know, Eden, a while back had a tramatising experience with Bo's dog. She has been terrified ever since. Well, since watching these two dogs for two weeks Eden has come to love them! The first day or two she would scream any time they came near her. It was funny to watch because she was curious and wanted to get a closer look at them, but she was scared at the same time. So with a little coaxing and persistance she gradually learned to touch them ,then pet them. She loves them now and say's " doggy, whoowhowhowhowho"( this is her version of their panting noise). I think she will miss them.

Eden turned 1 on June 2nd! Wow that year sure did fly by. She got to celebrated two days with each of her grandparants so we had two different cupcakes for her to devour. She loved the frosting more than the cake. But it was fun to watch. She was timid to eat her cupcake at first, but then she got right in to making a mess. We love having her as a part of our family. Eden started walking on graduation day May 27th. That was the goal an she made it! Thanks Grandma Kristi and Aunt Shar for your diligence. They kept her going and pushed her a little more until she did it. Yeah! Now she is walking all over. Yesterday she started falling and picking herself up on her own. Yesterday April 5th was Jay's 25th Birthday. I made him pancakes in the morning. He opened up a present with his Lobo hat and Lobo sticker for his truck. Lobo through and through.
For dinner I decided to make churascaria or Brazzilian BBQ. We had chicken wrapped in bacon with a b. sugar sauce, glazed and grilled pineapple, poa de kueio or cheese bread, rice and beans. Oh man it was good! That quickly turned into a new birthday tradition.
Jay also got a new garmin and looked like a little kid at Christmas playing with it. I think it was a good day overall. I sure am grateful for him! He is the best husband a girl could ask for and Eden sure loves her dad! Love ya Jay!

7th grade girls basketball

Wow what an awesome game! We went to Payson with our 7th grade girls basketball team that we coached this year for a tournament. We played St. Johns and won, Holbrook and won, and then we played Payson for the Championship and miraculously won! Those Payson girls were big and mean. They were cussing at our girls and being very brutal. But our girls played with heart. They wanted to win so bad and they left it all on the court. I have never seen them play so well. It came down to the wire and our lead point guard swished 2 free throws for the win. The Payson girls were so mad and some did not even shake our hands. Oh well. I am proud of our girls it was a very fun day. Eden had fun too. The girls just love her and called for turns to play with her during our brakes. They called her their little mascott. We ended the year 9-1 with only one loss to Winslow. We should have beat them but lost it in the 4th. I wish we could have redeemed ourselves against them at tournament, but they were not there.
We had a great time coaching and would do it again in a heart beat!

I celebrated my 24th birthday on Sunday the 5th. I got this fun outfit from my mom. Kristi also got me a cute dress but I haven't gotten a picture in it yet.

I had a great day. Saturday Jay took me shopping and made me a great candle light dinner. Then I got a free blizzard at DQ and got my strawberry cheesequake...so good. Sunday we celebrated with Grandma Kathy who turned 69 and had a great dinner and watched the 1st Pres. Devotional. Thank you everyone!

Jay had lots of fun playing football with Kedndal McCray for 4 hours in a tournament. He ended up having to guard Jason who is a big guy. Jay was sore for days and let me know it after guarding Jason:) I think he had a lot of fun though.

Yes I know I am not in any of these pictures...I am always taking them. I take my camera with me everywhere but I always forget to take it out. Darn it. We had fun playing basketball with cousin's and uncles, ultimate frisbee, kick ball, volleyball, you name it we played it. So fun. We had some great food and we also saw Tangled, a cute movie about Rapunzle?( Sorry if I spelt it wrong) Eden got spoiled at my family's house and was played with a lot. At the end of each day she was dead tired and out for most of the night. Oh I just love family! That is what the holidays are really about. They wouldn't be as good without them!

Well it is past our two year mark. Its been a great ride so far. We took some pictures one night after going to a friends reception. We were hoping Eden would stay awake but she fell asleep too quick, so Jay and I had some fun taking a few pics.

So, Jay has a shirt that says "Sports Freak" on it and it describes him perfectly. Every morning he watches Sports Center. He has been taking Eden in the mornings when I have had a long night so I can sleep a little. Well, now Eden is addicted and she is officially a sports fanatic. When we set her down she will look up at the TV and be mesmerized. She loves Sports Center and she will talk to the TV. We caught it on video. It is so cute. Jay is a proud dad.

Sunday August 1, 2010 we blessed Eden. Jay gave a wonderful blessing. We had my family and grandparents as well as Jay's family, grandparents and some aunts and cousins. We had Cafe Rio for lunch after that was so good and we enjoyed having everyone there to support us. We took some pictures and got a few of Eden that were so cute. She is such a fun little girl. She is smiling and "talking" to us now. She even laughs sometimes. So Fun!!!

So I know this is a little late but Eden is here and we are loving being parents. She came on her due date which was June 2nd so we were very excited about that. Brittany had contractions all day pretty much and then at 8 that night she decided it was time to come so we were very excited. We came home the next night they make you stay exactly 24 hours if everything is going good and so we had to wait for that to do the heal prick on Eden which she did not like at all. We have just been having fun being around each other for the past week she is a good baby and sleeps pretty well during the night I have been sleeping really well so Brittany has had most of the night time shift, Eden always wants to eat anyways and I can't help her in that department. Brittany did great throughout the whole pregnancy and delivery she handled everything like a champ so props to her big time. I enjoy giving Eden her baths now and doing her hair its cute when its all curly right after she takes a bath, then I put some cute clothes on her and primp her up a little. She has a sense of humor I can tell already she usually has a half grin and one eye open so it gives her a little cunning look its funny. Also when she eats she groans like crazy she has been eating good and has already gained weight from when she was born. At her two day check up she had lost 6 ounces and the and then after her one week she had gained a pound from where she had lost so she could start to look a little chubbier here in the next little while. I am very happy to be a dad and love my two girls very much, they are my Little Missy and Big Missy.

Salt Lake Trip for Conference

We had a great time going to conference this year. We went with our friends KEndal and Kristina McCray. We went to a Brazillian BBQ called Tucano's which was just amazing! It tasted so good and we were very impressed.
We also visited a grave site that had a lot of the prophets in it including Gordon B. Hinkley, Joseph F. Smith, Heber J. Grant, Hyrum Smith, David O. McKay, John Taylor, Joseph Fielding Smith, Wilford Woodfruff, a wife of Brigham Young and an ancestor of mine Joseph B. Noble who was a body guard to Joseph Smith. It was really neat to see.
Conference was amazing and we had seats that were maybe 20 rows or less back straight in front of the pulpit. I love our prophet Thomas S. Monson and I know that he is a true prophet. How blessed we are!

So, We unexpectedly got to have an Ultrasound the last Doc. appointment I had. We were very suprised that it's a girl. We were expecting a little boy. But we are so excited! I told my sisters and they were so excited they were screaming on the phone and said they wanted to go shopping right away to but cute stuff. Fun Fun. MY due date is still June 2nd but the Doc. said that the baby looks about a week bigger. Maybe I am eating too much. Or maybe I am just destined to have big babies. Guess it runs in the family. This is Jay surprise I know. Yesterday was Brittany's b-day so I made breakfast in the morning french toast that is what she wanted. Then we went and practiced for the Christmas Spectacular that will be this next week, and then we had a special session in the Temple for our ward which was very nice. Brittany sadly had to work in the afternoon and I really needed to do some homework so it worked out alright. We wanted some Italian food for dinner so we made Ravioli and Marinara sauce with bread sticks and it was pretty darn good. Kendal and Kristina came over and we visited and played games for a while then Tyler and Wendy came and talked with us for a while as well. It was a fun day and I enjoyed having some people over and just hanging out we don't do that very much. Today after church the McCray's invited us over for dinner Kendal's b-day is the 7th and we again just ate and laughed and had a good time. That was pretty much our weekend we really enjoyed it.
School is going well I hope that I will be able to get the classes I need for next semester one of my classes was filled completely after registration had been open for only 45 minutes pretty ridiculous so I hope that works out for next year so I won't be farther behind. Someday I might finish (big sigh) it will still be a while though. We are excited to find out what our baby will be, in just like six weeks or so we should know so that is very exciting.

We Heard the Heart Beat!!

We went to the doc. yesterday for a check up. I am 10 weeks now. the nurse said at first that we were not going to be able to hear a heartbeat or have an ultrasound yet cause I wasn't far enough along. I was sad. And to say the least I was somewhat nervous and just needed to know that everything was OK because I had a miscarriage last time at 10 weeks. So, Dr. Tindall came in and talked to us and asked how I was. And one of the first things he said without me even asking is that he wanted to see in the ultrasound tech could do one on me today. I was so relieved! I almost yelled Yes! So, we went in and the lady was able to do a regular ultrasound since I was still pretty skinny and didn't have a lot to go through. We heard the heart beat for a few seconds and that was very relieving. The first two pics are with the regular ultrasound and you can see the cord and an arm and leg. WE did this one for a while. Then she switched to a 3D4D one and those are the next 2 pics. You can see so much better with those. The first of those is when we saw the baby moving its legs really fast. It must have a lot of energy. We don't have pics of this, but at one time it was trying to hide its face and looked almost shy. then the last one was taken right after the Tech said it did the Heisman. So of course Jay said " I knew it was a boy!" I just laughed. So it was a great night and we were both very excited. So, we decided to dress up as Lobo Football fans. We didn't really want to buy anything to be something else and we had Lobo stuff to decorate our truck for the Trunk or Treat. It was fun but our candy was gone in 15 min. or less. So we know for next time to get more. There were a lot of kids there that were not in our ward, so that made a difference in candy. Oh well! Jay and I had fun.

This is a video by Marc Mabry. you may have heard of him before. He did reflections of Christ Pics in the Mesa Visitor center. I also got to meet him a few times before and during the Easter Pageant when I was in it. the man who portrays Christ is the main Christ in the Easter Pageant. Enjoy!

Our First Anniversary!

We went to the Temple, Golfed, Went to dinner, and we made a movie telling about how we met, got engaged, and all that's happend in our first year of marriage. It was so fun. ( It was Jay's idea by the way) I was very impressed. Then he took me to the tample later and asked my to marry him again. It was really cute. I love JAY!!!!!
